Cultural

Eidot CHeMDaT"A culture is rich, diverse, and deeply rooted in the histories of African-American and Caribbean-American Jewish communities. Our cultural initiatives preserve and celebrate the stories, traditions, creativity, and contributions that have shaped our communities and expanded the American Jewish experience.

Through historical research, archival preservation, oral histories, arts and humanities initiatives, cultural programming, and community events, we document where we have been while creating space for how our culture continues to evolve. We elevate the voices, experiences, and accomplishments of Eidot CHeMDaT"A communities so that our heritage is preserved, shared, and recognized as an enduring part of Jewish life.
